Our Incredible Lightening Tree...

On the  27th of May 2017 at 11am, a tree at the back of The Meadows was hit by lightening, during a storm, causing the ground to move... which was felt by the campers! It also created a loud bang heard by the campers and by Andy, who at the time was in the bungalow at the other end of The Meadows. The lightening has left a large gash in the trunk of the tree from top to bottom, from which you can see it's splintered core.

More photos of the lightening tree available in the gallery!
